What The Poop Happened To DA?
I've been starting to get back to stuff and the more I look around, the more I see something is very off about DA now, lol! There's a lot, but I'll run down the main stuff I seen. -First, no seeing a "newest" feed anymore I see. Before you could use that to avoid the usual "popular" stuff being pushed, but now that's gone. There's a thing where you can go by "most recent" for a search. But what about all the rest of the content?... Are we supposed to do that with every topic out there ever? -DA has been pushing AI in many ways shapes and forms, which is essentially stolen content. They got a lot of flak for this one: ...Which they then seemed to try and quickly play damage control by featuring another artist: ...Which if you check the profile is basically furry porn. XD Thus causing more backlash. Then went right back to AI of the same one they got flak for with an update of them getting even more sales (probably from their prior promo): ...Leading to another AI-er: -You

Youtube and Google Drive To Create Mass Link Rot
A few heads ups as they didn't give much time (especially on the first one) so please spread the word on this. Youtube is going to alter unlisted video links of videos made before 2017 on July 23rd unless each channel owner opts out of it (if one wants to): https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/06/23/youtube-is-about-to-make-all-of-your-old-unlisted-videos-private-but-theres-a-workaround/ I have no unlisted videos for bonus videos and such so this doesn't affect my channel. But given how little notice they gave, I have a hunch that this will ruin billions of links across the web because a good chunk of people won't get to them in time or wont care enough to bother. It's called "link rot", which is a term you may have heard before. But this one will be at a unrepresented scale. Videos that link to unlisted videos such as a choose your path game for instance will all completely break unless acted on. As will links people may have saved to unlisted videos. New Twitch Templates and Unstored Youtube Themes
Oh man has it been too long. I've been rather inactive on the net in general lately due to irritations by various companies making me feel down. But I'm feeling a lot less irritated/stressed and getting back into things. One of which was I decided to make new templates for Twitch which you can find here: Yes yes yes... I know I said I don't like Twitch anymore and still don't like the site because they ruined a lot of what made the place good. But I know a lot of people still use the site to stream so these are for everyone who wants to use Twitch.
